Disappearing is the first album in years from Adriano Zanni. Under the monicker Punck he has released four albums and several EPs, this is the first under his own name.
The general atmosphere is dark and threatening. The combination of analogue and digital instruments, coupled with field recordings and samples, brings to mind a rarefied enviroment where everything sounds like different shades of the same obscurity, like when you are walking in the woods after dusk. You can hear metallic sounds and menacing industrial beats from afar, while the rattle of something indistinguishable makes you more and more uncomfortable. What are the voices that you hear?
